Generally Catholic schools will accept children of all religions although you'll find the vast majority of children in Catholic schools are Catholic. You will find it is the goal of Catholic schools to provide a Catholic education to children regardless of their religion. There are also many private schools that are non-denominational - that is they have no religious affiliation at all. No matter which private school you choose it would be rare that you will ever need to change your child's religion to be accepted. You may however find it more difficult to secure a place in some schools where there is a long waiting list for positions because there may be a tendency to give first preference to children of a particular religion - each school is different. If you would like to find more information about non-denominational schools in your area simply choose a region from the menu (right column) then click 'filter this list' (near the top). Where you see 'Religious Affiliation' type - non-denominational. That will give you a list of all the schools in that area with no religious affiliation. Some of those schools will also have their fees listed.
