Clyde Grammar opened its doors in 2020 with two Foundation classes and a vision to provide families in and around the Clyde community with access to a high-quality and affordable education.
Currently offering classes from Foundation to Year 5, we welcome a new year level each year. In 2027 we will open the doors to our Senior School and welcome our Year 7 students.
We are a co-educational, non-denominational school that embraces strong Christian values. At the same time, our education programs continually evolve to remain relevant and forward looking.
Our school proudly supports democratic principles and encourages students to become informed and responsible members of their communities. We also celebrate our rich cultural diversity and acknowledge and respect the importance of heritage, particularly our indigenous culture and history.
Clyde Grammar values and celebrates the cultural diversity within its learning community by respecting, sharing and understanding the importance of heritage, and acknowledging our indigenous culture and history.
The teaching staff are dedicated and passionate about building genuine and meaningful relationships with students, their families and the wider community. They strive to provide a safe, engaging learning environment and deliver a pedagogy that embraces individuality, inspires inquiry, promotes equity, a growth mindset and ongoing success for all.
Clyde Grammar is committed to offering a thorough, sequential and comprehensive curriculum founded on the Victorian Curriculum. In the Early Years (F-2), the focus is on establishing a strong foundation in numeracy and literacy that is further developed in Years 3-6.
The Junior School curriculum in Years F-6, which follows the Victorian Essential Learning Standards, is based on the traditional disciplines, but within each of the subject areas, there is also a focus on interpersonal development and personal learning, as well as thinking and communication skills across the curriculum.
The aim of our program is to foster spiritual, intellectual, physical and social development in each student through participation in programs of study and other activities appropriate to their diverse needs, abilities and aspirations.
Students will also work on some integrated units of study, which will cover knowledge and skills across several domains.
Clyde Grammar aims to provide programs in the following areas:
English
Humanities (History, Geography)
Mathematics
Science
Language Other Than English
The Arts
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics)
Health & Physical Education
Science
Information Technologies
Religious Education (Christianity) & Personal Development
Civics & Citizenship

Senior School
In 2027, Clyde Grammar will open the doors to its Senior School.
This marks a significant milestone in our journey. Our vision has always been to provide a comprehensive and high-quality education for our students from Early Years through to Year 12.
That vision is now being realised with our current Year 5 students set to become the inaugural students of our Senior School.
To prepare for this transition, the construction of our collaborative Learning Centre is now underway.
This new facility will include four Senior School classrooms, a sessional music room, a full-size basketball court, an assembly hall with retractable seating and a before and after-school care area. There will also be student change rooms, storage areas, and office and amenities for staff.
The new building will be ready for use at commencement of the 2026 school year.
Curriculum
Just like our Junior School, the Senior School at Clyde will offer a thorough, sequential and comprehensive curriculum founded on the Victorian Curriculum. More details on our Senior School curriculum will be available soon.
