Coomera Anglican College is set on 15 hectares in the rapidly growing northern end of the Gold Coast. The College was founded by The Honourable Ivan Gibbs and opened in 1997. Since its early beginnings at a Coomera farmhouse, Coomera Anglican College has operated with an eye on the future. Built on a vision to inspire excellence in teaching, learning, service and the Anglican faith, the College provides students with a seamless transition from early learning to primary, secondary and into vocational or tertiary education.
Today the College has grown to become one of South East Queensland’s most progressive educational institutions educating students from Kindergarten – Year 12. Our premium multi-disciplinary facilities, showcase architect-designed Primary, Junior and Senior Secondary campuses and quality facilities which include an Aquatic Centre with a 25m, eight-lane pool, gymnasium, Performing Arts Centre and a Visual Arts Studios and Gallery.
In our almost 30 years of existence, Coomera Anglican College has established deep traditions and roots in the community, as a coeducational Independent Early Learning to Year 12 College.
Proud Tradition, Bold Ambition.
Located on a sprawling 15 hectares on the northern Gold Coast, our College houses competitive facilities and a nurturing community where students excel.
Our culture and community are made stronger by unique rites of passage and traditions. For many families, these are profound memories that allow them to pause and celebrate life’s early milestones.
It is through our strong foundations of warm community, sustainable growth, and the Anglican tradition that we can look boldly to our future.
Education must evolve to meet the demands of a rapidly changing world. We are on a journey to redefine education for our young people to rise to any challenge – ready for anything.

Mr Innes-Hill is a highly regarded educator and leader with 30 years of experience in education. He was previously the Principal at Emmanuel and Josiah Colleges on the Gold Coast and, most recently, the Head of Cape Byron Rudolf Steiner School.
A lifelong learner, Mr Innes-Hill has a BA (Hons) in English from Kingston University in London, the English Post Graduate teaching Qualification from the University of East Anglia, and a Masters in Education (Leadership and Applied Linguistics) from the Open University in the United Kingdom. He is also a Lay Reader in the Church of England.
Mr Innes-Hill's vision for Coomera Anglican College is that it can continue to lead the way in developing education that values every person’s dignity, which has breadth and depth, joy and hope, and the kind of meaningfulness that enables all its students to make a real difference in the world.
“I have a vision of a school that strives to nurture young adults who want to and can make a real difference in the world – young adults filled with what one of my educational heroes (Kurt Hahn) lists as: “an enterprising curiosity, an undefeatable spirit, tenacity in pursuit, readiness for sensible self-denial, and above all, compassion.”"
