Everyone is welcome. The School is a non-denominational and the multicultural student body is comprised of Australian citizens, Australian residents and International students.

Close to the ocean and city-centre, our modern campus is nestled amongst Perth’s premium suburbs. It offers great transport networks and is surrounded by cafes, shopping centres, sports amenities, child-care and community clubs.

The school offers everything necessary to support a world-class education for students. In addition to large classrooms, the school includes science labs, drama studios, art studios, e-learning centres, library, gymnasium, tennis courts and basketball courts, large playing fields and nature based playgrounds.

State-of-the-Art Education Facilities

Our campus combines new with old – retaining and refurbishing heritage buildings of a former school site as well as constructing a new two-storey teaching block, arts precinct and gymnasium. The areas are known as:

Kalinda (Administration, Science Labs, ICT workroom, E-Learning Centre, Secondary School classrooms);
Heritage (HR and Primary School classrooms);
Village (Primary School classrooms);
Early Years (Kindergarten and Pre-Primary classrooms);
Arts Precinct (Music, Drama, Visual Art Studios, STEM maker-space and Library); and
Sports Centre (Gymnasium, Fitness Room, Outdoor Hardcourts, Ovals).

Shaded green spaces complement the new buildings, which are landscaped with natural flora and include five purpose-built and nature inspired playgrounds.

Welcome to the International School of Western Australia (ISWA) website, and thank you for wishing to know more about our school.

ISWA has a well-established tradition of serving the needs of families seeking an international education in Perth. Co-educational and non-denominational, ISWA is innovative in practice and diverse in demographics.

Our student body represents over 60 nationalities, and we pride ourselves on incorporating varied perspectives into learning, and we see differences as assets. Our graduates transition successfully to competitive universities and colleges both locally and around the world.

At ISWA we are committed to student wellbeing and individual success. Our campus provides fantastic learning spaces and possibilities, including award-winning outside areas built for exploration and adventure! Beyond the classroom, we encourage participation in a range of co-curricular activities, and our students are all engaged in service learning. With a world-class faculty, a fantastic campus, a welcoming, well-travelled and active Parent Association and supportive Board of Trustees, we are proud to offer students and families an inclusive, supportive and engaged learning community.

I encourage you to contact the school to learn more about us. We look forward to welcoming you personally to our wonderful community and beautiful campus.

Best wishes
