As a Franciscan educational community, Padua College prides itself on being a place of affirmation, acceptance and hospitality.

We are... Padua.

Padua College is an independent Catholic boys school in the care of the Franciscan Friars of Kedron.  With attractive surrounds and of moderate size, Padua College fosters the academic, spiritual, physical, cultural and social needs of boys from Year 5 to Year 12.

Franciscans have been educating for 800 years.  In the spirit of St Francis, Padua is a gospel-centered community that strives to foster the individual growth and devleopment of it's students.  Padua has become a place of affirmation and acceptance where all students are encouraged to strive to their own personal level of excellence.

All students from Years 5 to 12 are required to follow an academic program which provides them with a comprehensive and challenging education.  Padua places a very strong emphasis on the value of a broad and balanced education in all major areas of learning.  In the senior years, students are offered the opportunity to pursue a vocational style of education in which school-based apprenticeships can be undertaken.  However, the majority of students participate in programs which prepare them for university entrance.  All boys are encouraged to particpate in the co-curricular program including associated independent colleges, sport, Fransiscan Colleges instrumental music program, debating, drama and Theatresports.

Padua College is a faith community which prides itself on being a place of affirmation, acceptance and hospitality.

A challenging curriculum from Years 5-12, featuring a wide range of QSA and VET options in the Senior School.
Two well resourced campuses: Years 5-6 and Years 7-12 set in pleasant welcoming environments. Modern Outdoor Education Centre in the Noosa Hinterland catering for camping, ropes courses, canoeing, sailing etc.

Co-Curricular at the College is vast. In the sports arena we strongly recommend that students engage in the many opportunities available such as cricket, swimming, volleyball, basketball, rugby union, football, water polo, afl, tennis and hockey, just to name a few. Debating, chess, public speaking, mooting and social justice groups provide another dimension to the co-curricular activities on offer at Padua College. In addition, Padua College has a strong tradition with its comprehensive music programme.
