Mackay Christian College has expanded its facilities dramatically over the past few years to include a purpose-built Trade Training Centre, Junior School Campus and Pre-prep Learning Centre. Mackay Christian College Trade Training Centre is a project funded by the Australian Government’s Trade Training Centre initiative. The MCCTTC is staffed and managed by Mackay Christian College on behalf of a consortium of Independent Schools in Mackay including Whitsunday Anglican School and Carlisle Christian College. The MCCTTC is located on the Mackay Christian College Kings Park Campus and is used by students from all consortium members. The Junior School Campus is located across the road from the current campus in Evans Avenue North. This campus is aptly named Providence. The campus hosts students from Prep to Year 5 along with Pre-prep students in the Pre-prep Learning Centre. Also located on Providence campus is a large government funded multi-purpose hall which seats 1500. Along with these new additions, Mackay Christian College currently caters for students from Pre-prep to year 12 in a number of highly functional buildings. Prep children have wet areas, a playground and their own set of toilets adjacent to their classrooms. Junior, Middle and Ssenior students each have dedicated classroom areas, basketball and netball courts and a number of ovals. There is a dedicated art room, science labs and a number of computer labs in the Middle and Senior School with computers a fixture in years 4, 5, 6 and 7 classrooms in the Junior and Middle schools, along with a state-of-the-art Library and Resource Centre.
