Academic scholarships
The school offers a number of Academic scholarships each year (at a range of discount levels on tuition fees) to students entering Years 5-6, Year 7 and Year 11. Academic scholarships are open to students presently enrolled at the school and to students wishing to enter St Andrew’s Cathedral School from 2023.
The school expects all Academic scholarship holders to display a high standard of achievement. The school trusts that the privilege of receiving a scholarship will build responsible attitudes, develop leadership potential and enable students to take a positive role in school life.
Year 7 Academic Scholarships
Scholarships for Year 7 students starting in 2023
All applicants for Year 7 academic scholarships must sit the ACER Scholarship Test and submit their application directly to the ACER website. The test requires students to demonstrate a range of skills such as the ability to interpret, infer, deduce and think critically. It is not curriculum-based and does not test the ability to retrieve learned knowledge.
The ACER exam date is Saturday 26 February 2022.
