William Clarke College is a highly respected Preparatory to Year 12, independent, co-educational, Anglican College located in Kellyville, in Sydney’s Hills District. How do schools in partnership with parents prepare young people to thrive in an increasingly complex, globalised world? A world that is characterised by change, technological innovation and in great need of virtuous leaders who possess robust thinking, moral courage and vision. These ideas have inspired our passion to build a Christ-centred community that seeks to develop extraordinary learners with a passion to serve others. This is our purpose.

In the Primary School we place a strong emphasis on developing a rich and robust foundation in literacy and numeracy in every student. The College has invested in a unique small-group approach where specially trained literacy and numeracy teachers work alongside classroom teachers to support each student to make progress in this foundational area. By structuring learning in small groups, teachers are able to provide targeted instruction, enhance student engagement, promptly identify gaps in knowledge, foster meaningful relationships and monitor student progress. For more information on the Primary School’s small group approach please visit our website.

The Secondary School adopts an approach to learning that promotes student agency, voice and choice, referred to as Deep Learning. Students will engage in Deep Learning through authentic, real-world experiences that seek to develop Christ-like Character, Academic Mastery and Enterprise Skills. Across the Secondary School Deep Learning occurs in three stages – Foundation (Years 7 and 8), Exploration (Years 9 and 10) and Acceleration (Years 11 and 12), with the ultimate goal of equipping students to thrive in life beyond school. For more information on the Secondary School curriculum please visit our website.
The College is set on 9.65 hectares (23.8 acres). Building commenced in 1989, and by 1999 the College had a large oval, a bus bay, and eight buildings catering for classroom teaching and specialist facilities for Art, Mathematics, Science, Technical and Applied Sciences, a Library, Canteen, Music & Drama area and a large multipurpose hall known as the PA Hall.
Recent major developments have included a Junior School precinct and additional multipurpose hall (completed in 2010), a large state-of-the-art Sports Centre with dance studio and cardio and weights rooms (completed in 2014) and a Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM) centre. The College's current developments are guided by the ten year Master Plan, which seeks to ‘future proof’ the campus and maintain maximum green space. Ultimately, the goal is to design extraordinary spaces that inspire extraordinary learners. To create spaces that facilitate a love of learning and a place where students feel they belong.

Families are welcome to book a Student-led tour at any stage in the enrolment process. Tour dates are communicated via the College website and are held multiple times each term. College tours give prospective families the opportunity to hear from key College Staff as well as view College facilities.

Many buses provide transport to and from the College, and some of these also pick up from nearby train stations. Hillsbus and Busways can be contacted for specific service information. For those parents/carers who wish to drive their children, there are designated 'Kiss and Drop' zones.

Working with young people, whether sharing the joy of learning to read with a Preparatory student or working alongside Year 12 students preparing for their final examinations, the role of an educator is one that is deeply rewarding.

There are many reasons why we believe William Clarke College is a special place. However, the central story that we wish to share is that we have amazing students. We are constantly surprised by stories that time and time again reveal the caring, giving and mature way our students seek to serve each other and others in need. They excel academically, reach great heights on the sporting field, and perform brilliantly and beautifully in the arts.

It is our great privilege to work alongside dedicated staff who have a passion to prepare young people for success beyond their success at school. At William Clarke, students are supported to progress substantially at school and are challenged to grow in ways that will equip them to thrive in their life beyond the security of the school gates.

We are thrilled to lead a Christ-centred community that seeks to develop extraordinary learners with a passion to serve. I commend the College to you and look forward to meeting you in the not too distant future.
