GREEK ORTHODOX ARCHDIOCESE OF AUSTRALIA NATIONAL SCHOOLS EVENT

We are honoured to confirm that All Saints Grammar will be hosting the 2017 Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia National Schools Event commencing Wednesday May 3rd.

Over 300 students from seven Greek-Orthodox colleges all over Australia will be at Sydney’s bilingual college of All Saints Grammar, to take part in the National Schools Event 2017.

Students of St Andrew’s Grammar School (Perth), St George College (Adelaide), St John’s College, Oakleigh Grammar (Melbourne), St Euphemia College (Sydney) and St Spyridon College (Sydney) will join together for a three day event, to compete in a range of sports and arts competitions. As part of sport activities, students will participate in basketball, netball, indoor soccer, soccer, table tennis and volleyball.

All Saints Grammar Head of School, Mrs Elfa Lillis, states that it is with great honour for the College to be the proud host of the games that have been taking place every year since 1996. In fact on Thursday night May 4, All Saints Grammar will hold a commemorative dinner in honour of all the participants.

Kaloudis Sisters play at US Kids Golf Australian Open

Irene and Stella Kaloudis, from Beverly Hills, were invited to represent our community at the inaugural US Kids Golf Australian Open this January.

The Kaloudis sisters were invited to play in the two-day tournament, to be held at Moore Park Golf Club. Irene and her younger sister, Stella, have been practice partners since picking up the sport. The pair are hoping to play in the US Kids Golf European Championship later this year.Irene, 10, has just become a member at Bexley Golf Club and has been playing competitively since September 2015. She represented Australia at the US Kids Golf World Championships in August last year and was the only female member of the Combined Independent Schools team that competed at the NSW PSSA Golf Championships held at Blackheath Golf Club in September.

King's Sport Results 2016

Congratulations to the 66 students who represented King's Christian College at state level in 2016; the 40 students who represented King's at national level and the 8 students who were 1st, 2nd or 3rd in Australia for their sport.

All Saints Grammar STEM Students build solar car and compete in UNSW SunSprint Challenge

There is no doubt that sustainability has become a hot topic of interest in preserving our environment. At All Saints Grammar, our STEM students have dived head first into this pool of interest by designing then building a functional Solar Car.

OnSTAGE nominations 2016

Five of our talented Year 12 Drama students have been nominated for OnSTAGE for their outstanding drama performances for this year's Higher School Certificate.

Individual Performance:  Brooke Manning; Meryl from Bombshells.

Group Performance: Edan McGovern, Jean Gardiner-Cox, Isabella Baran, Camille Olsen-Ormandy for their piece Proudly Pathetic.

World Skipping Gold for King's

Tia Gold MedalTia Curtis has just returned from the World Skipping Championships in Malmo, Sweden. Tia was in team Australia 21 which was against 17 other teams from 24 countries. They performed single rope routines, speed skipping and double dutch and won 5 medals which placed them 1st overall in the 12-14-year-old female category.

This is an amazing achievement for Tia who has trained very hard for the past four and a half years. It shows that with dedication and perseverance you can reach your goals. Congratulations, Tia!
